The summer of 2020 it is still uncertain about the future of the Rotary members-to-member link. While the "hands in space" mantra is undoubtedly part of our daily routine There's no doubt the trust in Rotary is increasing and more people are making face-toface connections. Rotary has certainly changed. In the months leading up to the summer of 2021, it is unclear how we will provide service to the community that involves the importance of human connection that was enjoyed by Rotary previous members. While the traditional 'hands in faces will certainly be part of our ongoing program, it's clear that the confidence building is evident and face-to-face reconnections occur. Rotary is changing too. Rotary has evolved. The way we conduct our business has been redesigned to keep online meetings at the forefront of our organizations, and we are introducing social and service activities through the face-to-face method. For the sake of building a better future for Rotary, we have used to take advantage of the epidemic and our previous routines. It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75 percent of Rotary clubs intend to keep their "business as usual" activities. This summer, many Rotary club members have been seen in public focusing on various projects including river and beach clean-ups, litter removal and beach cleanups. Watch this video 1. It's wonderful to learn that the Rotary support centre team provides valuable resources which help with the development and maintenance of the infrastructure, keeping members and the general public safe. Compliance and insurance are essential. It is incredible to see how our members have developed innovative ways to solve many of the toughest issues. I am so thankful that Rotary allowed me to join in 2002. Much like many, Rotary has provided me with the security of a solid group of people who are like-minded who have formed genuine relationships grown over the past twenty years. Let's now all spread the word about Rotary by inviting our friends, family and colleagues to join Rotary.
