The summer of 2020, we will still be uneasy about the direction of the Rotary member-to-member connection. The motto "hands-face-space" is sure to be commonplace in the club, it's evident that trust is growing and more people are making face-to-face connections. Rotary has changed. We are still uncertain about how the service we provide to others is going to incorporate the highly appreciated human connections that Rotary members enjoyed in the previous time. Even though the "hands in space" idea is likely to become a daily routines in our organization it is clear that the feeling of security is developing and more people are making face-to faces connections. But Rotary has evolved. Volunteers from the community clean up garbage. Volunteering through the network of Rotary creates lasting friendships The pandemic provided the catalyst that opened our eyes to the technology of the Rotary world. The pandemic has prompted us to enhance our technology practices. Our company is online while also reintroducing our social and service activity. To build the foundation for a brighter future for Rotary and our members, we've tapped into to take advantage of the pandemic and our old habits. It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75 percent of Rotary clubs intend to keep their "business as usual" routines. I am thankful for the chance Rotary offered me in 2002 with the opportunity to become an official participant. Much like many, Rotary have provided me with the security of a solid community of fellow members who have formed genuine relationships been formed over the last twenty years.
